Data deletion

This page supplements our Privacy Policy. If anything here conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement in your jurisdiction, the law prevails.

To request deletion of your data, email support@refractrai.com with the subject 'Data Deletion Request'. We will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

Send the email from the email address registered on your Refractr AI account so we can match your request to your account. If you cannot use that address (for example you have lost access), explain this in your email; we may ask for reasonable additional information to verify your identity before we delete data, to protect you and other users from fraudulent requests.

After we verify your request, we will delete or irreversibly anonymise personal data and account content held in our systems for your workspace, including where applicable your profile, saved ads, products, creatives, workflow state, and similar application data, subject to the exceptions below.

Deletion does not remove advertising accounts, campaigns, ads, or store content you created on Meta, Shopify, or other third parties; you must manage or delete those separately under those platforms' policies.

We aim to complete deletion of your account and associated data within thirty (30) days of verifying your request. Residual copies may persist for a limited period in encrypted backups and are then overwritten according to our hosting provider's backup cycle.

We may retain certain limited information where the law requires it (for example billing and tax records), or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims or prevent fraud. Such data is retained only as long as necessary and is not used to market to you.

Where the Service offers permanent account deletion in your account settings (for example in a danger zone or account area), you may use that feature instead of email; the same retention exceptions and third-party platform rules described above still apply.

We may update this page from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when we make material changes.
